Welcome to 12th Division.

This is The Twelfth Division (十二番隊, jūnibantai), also known as Squad 12.We are diligent workers and scientists,independent yet always ready to land a hand.


This is our flower insignia,a Thistle.Its Latin name is Carduus.
It represents Vengeance, Strictness,Nobility and Independence.
It has other meanings as well and a story.In the language of flowers it is an ancient Celtic symbol of nobility of character as well as of birth, for the wounding or provocation of a thistle yields punishment. For this reason the thistle is the symbol of the Order of the Thistle, a high chivalric order of Scotland.
Another story is that a bare foot Viking attacker stepped on one at night and cried out, so alerting the defenders of a Scottish castle.Whatever the justification, the national flower of Scotland is the thistle.

Here the best advancement in the scientific and technological fields in Seireitei and other worlds occurs.We have the latest experimental equipment,fully stocked labs and newest technology.Our staff is around 24/7 and will always land a helping hand whether you need somethings new to defeat a strong Hollow or the latest Arrancar data.Our labs also host the Spirit Wave Lab which monitors reiatsu of entities outside and inside the Seireitei so you can rest easy.

You are not automatically a part of DORAD the moment you join 12th division as all of Seiretei seems to assume.If you wish to become a part of our big family please either pm the current Head or post your request here using the following form:

~General Information~
Researches will be given either a place in one of the common labs or one of their own and a grant.Please note that besides working on your own project you are required to help with the main duties that include observing the monitors,updating the main frame,gathering data in the field,keeping the labs clean and working on the Main projects.There will be missions and events for you to participate in if you so wish.Submit your working projects in the Lab thread by posting this form:

~Rules~
1.No experiments on live Humans,Quincies and Shinigami unless the subject is willing and you have permission of the Head.
2.If you experiment is dangerous and might result in a large decimation of the labs please inform the Head before hand so a barrier could be erected.We are tired of constant rebuilding.
More rules shall be added as needed.Failure to follow them will result in heavy fines and possibly a criminal charge.
