Because Tite Kubo has been struggling for years to find a way to properly eliminate Komamura

Not really somedude he could take koma out whenever he wants!

But Komamura is just such a flat character that needlessly killing him off is impractical OH WAIT

He does have some nice, profound speeches though.. I guess that kinda makes up for the lack of badassness on his part. But why can't he have BOTH like Ulquiorra? /FANGIRL

Because the fact that he can talk to begin with is completely impractical

Don't get me wrong, Koma's awesome in my opinion, but that's because HE'S A TALKING ANIMAL THAT DRESSES LIKE A HUMAN

I thought this chapter was.... okay... I mean... It just seems like Aizen is WAY too overpowered. Hell it did before, but this chapter... made me feel like Bleach was a giant RP and Aizen was a God moder. =_="" Gin points out his power level in a very cheesy way, and it just made it seem like, "Aizen is all powerful just because!"

Aizen has to pwn the side characters first to show just how powerful he is. Then Ichigo will come in and plotkai the shit out of him, just to remind everyone who the main character is.

That's where that plotkai creeps in X)

The twist I'm thinking of it's not necessarily something plotkai-like which would affect ichigo, it's more like something unpredictable happening, with WW or Aizen or sudden'y captains from HM appear in Karakura...so I think it would be something that will affect everybody

Orihime...I think there are little chances for that...Orihime doesn't have the reiatsu powerful enough to erase Aizen, so I don't think this will happen...
Urahara could appear...but my money is that WW's release will be something more, than just a simple power-up

Urahara and gang (or at least Urahara) will show up in his black cloak and save shinigami butt (again).
Oh but first, I wanna see Gin's and Aizen's masks

The reiatsu matters...we saw when she tried to heal Ichigo before grimmjow, she had a rough time and she said that it was becuz of the strong reiatsu...so orihime's reiatsu strength and level matters when she is dealing strong opponents...

I wonder if Aizen even bothered to Hollowify himself...for some reason he just seems too arrogant to do it to himself. I could see Gin doing it, though.

Also, wouldn't they be called Vizards, too? I mean yeah, the name is attributed to the actual group of people, but it could also refer to any Shinigami that's capable of accessing their Hollow masks...right?

I think the term vizard was actually mentioned when Isshin defined the entity itself...so I think Tousen and Ichigo are vizards...
Aizen...I think he didn't hollowfy himself, yet...but I think he will...it's just the simple logic of shounen...the villain must reach the peek of possible power level, before his taken down

He did say that he intended to break the barrier between Shinigami and Hollow, it'd only make sense that he'd do it to himself too
